Easy for beginners and up

I gave it one star less as it's been five years since I haven't been able to use with MacOS. I used a Windows laptop just for this. I've enjoyed the product and used it in conjunction with other lessons and as reference. It's a beginner lesson and accomplished what I needed. I'm not sure I will ever move up with this product as I wouldn't bet on a Mac upgrade.

I have been using eMedia products for almost 20 years now and they are still just as amazing as they were when I started using them way back when . I am a music educator and have worked with many students who were just learning to play the guitar. This method is perfect for beginners as well as guitarists who are just looking to add some more depth to their playing skills. The eMedia guitar software was and still is my go to method for guitar instruction. It has everything you could ever need. From the video tutorials, the play along exercises and songs to the instant feedback feature which is just like having an instructor in the room with you in real time, it has it all.I have always appreciated the comfortable pace of instruction and the gently increasing levels of difficulty which are so critical in preventing undue frustration which inevitably leads to quitting. The ability to repeat a lesson or a song as often as needed versus having to wait another week and pay for another lesson is a very nice feature too. The ability to speed up or slow down the songs creates more achievable success while the finger tracking and animated fretboard really add so much visual depth to the learning experience .I could go on and on about eMedia but I suggest you check them out for yourself and see what they have to offer not only for guitar but for many other instruments as well. You won't be disappointed.

You could no go wrong when it comes to learning about your guitar.

I am extremely impressed with the approach to teaching in these lessons. I played the guitar in the past but did not have the facile way taught to me as done in these lessons. This is a "TEACHER IN A BOX". Would not hesitate to get these especially for the beginner, but the intermediate lessons not bad for the seasoned player, but this coming from a banjo player. Get them you will NOT be disappointed.
