Note that the only thing included in the box is the activation key and a small installation guide.This is an electronic download and because it's for an older version, the URL the guide points you to is for the latest Parallels 15 version, so you have to Google where to get the correct version as I was not able to navigate to it on Parallels site.My only issue is that the shared folders from my host Mac Mini (running High Sierra) is not showing up in the Snow Leopard server VM.

It works best of both worlds on a Mac

I have my first Mac and I heard that I could run windows at the same time using Parallels. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to do this! It’s so awesome to have both going at the same time and with just the click of a button you can switch. There is a program available with the Mac but I understand from others that it is much more cumbersome. Just remember if you are using this on Mac you need to also purchase Windows 10, which is also very easy to install. I am very pleased

I have an old Mac Pro (2008) that has basically been upgraded to function close to a recent release, and have Windows 7 (with Office, Project, and Visio) installed on my Boot Camp. I have a new MacBook Pro as my work computer. I work with clients that use Microsoft Project and Visio. Instead of needing to restart in Boot Camp mode, I can now use Parallels to easily navigate between MacOS and Windows applications and files. It saves so much time, I love it!
