Worked perfectly and one piece of advice….ensure you can use a network cable to connect each computers or ensure you are placing bother laptops close to the router. It can speed up the process on the Wifi. Excellent work though!!

Insufficient

I had little problem getting PC Mover Express downloaded from CW and set up. HOWEVER, I discovered this version of PC Mover would ONLY move files, not programs/apps. I had to upgrade the PC Mover Pro version through Laplink in order to transfer everything to a new computer. While the Express version did what it was designed to do, CW might have flagged the product with a big and bold note that it is only for moving files, not apps. I would have bought that from CW and saved a TON of time in several chats with Laplink, uninstalling and reinstalling the program, etc. etc.

Amazing Software

Been around computers for many, many years. This Software is truly amazing, it saves a lot of time especially going from an old Windows 10 computer to a new Windows 11 computer, which was my experience. Overview

Laplink DiskImage helps protect your system against unforeseen data loss by creating a 1:1 disk image copy of your applications, files, and settings. Once your disk image is created, you'll be able to easily restore your system in the event it becomes damaged due to corruption, virus, hackers, or malware. You'll also be able to restore your image to a new build with different hardware using the Hardware Independent Restore features.

Disk images can be stored on optical or external media, while a built-in scheduler can be used to create full or incremental system images, even while your system is in use. Furthermore, DiskImage can be used to create a physical boot CD, which lets you repair and restore your system in the event that your operating system won't start.

  • Store your image on CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, or other external media.
  • Use the built-in scheduler to automatically create full or incremental images of your system, even while it's in use.
